Afro News is an independent digital news platform providing reliable, timely, and relevant information for Africans living in Russia, and beyond.
We were created to address a clear need: a trusted and consistent source of news, practical guidance, and community stories for the African diaspora. Our platform reflects the everyday realities, opportunities, and experiences of Africans in Russia and across the continent of Africa.
Our team includes:
Editor – A professional journalist responsible for editorial standards and accuracy
Contributors – African students and residents reporting from cities across Russia. We also have experienced journalists and writers from across African continent.
Founder – An entrepreneur building solutions for the African community in Russia, and at home in Nigeria.
We are a growing newsroom, committed to delivering credible, relevant, and balanced information.
