Afro News in Russia. I first had the thought over a year ago.

Africans in Russia needed a place for reliable information. Not scattered Telegram messages. Not unverified WhatsApp forwards. A real platform. Trustworthy. Consistent. Built for us.

The thought came and went. Life got busy. Other projects under Vialex Universal took my attention.

African Union Day Celebration in Ufa, Russia

Then the thought came back. This time, I decided to act. I secured the domain. I found an editor. I reached out to writers. I built the website. Piece by piece, Afro News became real – a project under Vialex Universal.

Why Afro News? Why now?

Because the African community in Russia is growing. Students arrive every year. Entrepreneurs open businesses. Families put down roots. And everywhere they go, they ask the same questions:

  • Where do I find African ingredients?
  • How do I register my visa?
  • What are my rights as a tenant?
  • Where can I celebrate our culture?
  • Is there a worship centre around here?

These questions deserve clear, fact-based answers. Not rumors. Not opinions. Information that helps people live better, hence Afro News.

Afro News is not a political platform. We do not take sides in conflicts. We do not push agendas.

We focus on what matters to our readers: practical guides, community news, cultural stories, and opportunities. We help writers build their portfolios, every contributor gets a full byline and a published piece they can show the world. We verify our facts because our readers trust us.

We are small, growing, and committed to accuracy and fairness.

Afro News is part of a bigger vision. Vialex Universal is the parent company, the same entity behind the delivery service we are building for the African community in Russia. One dream. Multiple projects. All serving our people.

If you are reading this, you are one of our first readers. Welcome.

Explore the site. Read the articles. Share your thoughts. If you have a story to tell or a tip to share, reach out. This platform belongs to all of us.

One Africa. Many stories. We tell them all.

Thank you for being here.
